PingStand isn't showing any progress.
PingStand needs permission to read your health data — Apple Health on iPhone, Health Connect on Android. On iPhone, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → PingStand; on Android, open Health Connect and grant PingStand access. Make sure stand-time and steps are enabled. Stand-minutes also require a paired watch (Apple Watch or Wear OS) that you've been wearing; step data needs you to carry your phone.
Do I need a watch?
No. With a watch — Apple Watch on iPhone, Wear OS on Android — PingStand uses your real stand-minutes. Without one, it confirms movement from your phone's step count instead. A phone can't detect standing on its own, so phone-only mode measures steps or movement minutes.
How does the free trial and pricing work?
PingStand is free to use for 7 days — no card needed. After that, a single one-time purchase unlocks it forever. There's no subscription and no recurring charges.
I paid but the app still shows locked.
Open PingStand → Schedule → Access and the status should update to Unlocked. If not, tap Restore purchase there (or on the paywall), and make sure you're signed in with the same account you bought it with — your Apple ID on iPhone, or your Google account on Android.
Can I get complimentary access?
Yes — for press, accessibility needs, or other special cases. In the app go to Schedule → Access, copy your Member ID, and email it to us with a short note. We can grant access to that ID.
Is my health data private?
Completely. Your health data is read and used on your device and never leaves it. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
